Well Buckaroos It's the Branson Bulletin Newsletter June issue,
In May Branson started commercial air service at the brand new Branson Airport with two carriers offering non stop or connecting service to Minneapolis, Dallas, Milwaukee and Atlanta.
With the new Branson Convention Center and Hotel complex this should really be a great opportunity to plan your events in "The Live Entertainment Capital of the World". I am even thinking about conducting some Internet Marketing Seminars there.
June is kind of a Branson Barometer. The Chamber of Commerce can kind of get a feel on what kind of a year it is going to be for Branson businesses.
They get some preliminary numbers from the shows and lodging facilities. This should be a great year to visit Branson as everybody is trying to hold the line or even reduce prices and there are less crouds and traffic.
Some folks are concerned about the world financial condition but we should realize that 75% of the nations population lives within 500 miles of Branson and they all nead a vacation. Branson is also one of the best places to vacation or live as the prices are low and after all Branson is "The Live Entertainment Capital of the World". There are also lots to do in Branson that doesn't cost an arm and a leg such as going fishing (They have a great 3 day fishing license that is lower than anywhere I have ever been.)There are great water skiing swimming and boating you can hike all over the Ozark Mountain Country.
There is the nations best Trout fishing in Lake Taneycomo and multi fishing tournament Bass fishing in Table Rock Lake. Kayaking is very popular now and it is a great area for that and in fact my neighbor makes custom cedar kayaks if anyone is interested let me know.
The new computer controlled million dollar fountain in Branson landing is free and always fun to watch. You can shop in the afternoon than grab a indoor or outdoor meal and take in the fountain under it's beautiful light display. Before or instead of shopping you can take a trip on the Branson Scenic Railroad which has it's Depot in the Branson Landing area. There is even a great campground within walking distance.
The Missouri State Fish Hatchery is located on Lake Taneycomo right under the Table Rock Lake Dam and they have free tours and lots to look at in the wildlife area and they have a great video you can take in free.
The Branson Weather is great this time of the year and taking a Trail Ride at Bear Creek or a hike can be very enjoyable as there are very few bugs to bother you. Not like we have at our Northern Minnesota Ranch.the bugs are so bad there it was reported that a bunch of minnesota misquitoes carried of a youngster off the other day and they had to go look for him and give him a Calamine Lotion Bath. ha Ha!
Tune in for the July newsletter and I will have a cute joke about June and July.Ya All Come now,
