The Circle B Chuckwagon is just like sitting around the evening fire while on a cattle drive. You start off by watching some old cowboy movie footage that really brings back memories (Black and White ) and eating free popcorn. Then the riders come out and they do a little skit and then the whole gang starts bringing on the chuck (food). It is a real on the trail meal that is very authentic with baked potatoes, sausage, roast beef, baked beans, rolls, apple sauce, peach cobbler and beverage. There is even seconds and no one goes hungry on this trail drive.
This show is put on by the Horn Family who started out with a similar show in the Black Hills of South Dakota that is still in business and run by friends and other family members
Everyone gets into the act and if you aren't on stage you are on the lights and sound like Mom and Sis. The Riders of the Circle B are a great harmony and instrumental group that bring back memories of all the old trail songs and the will just crack you up with their comedy routines. The Riders have been joined by two-time Louisiana State Fiddle Champion LOUIS DARBY! They are continuing on the family tradition with numbers by the grand kids.
So for a foot tappin, tummy slapping, hands clappin time this show has it all and is a very genuine western music show right down to the great yodeling. It can be seen at the Circle B Chuckwagon theater located at 200 Jess Jo Parkway, Branson, MO 65616 (800) 678-6179 and (417) 336-1828 (hint: Down behind the Variety Theater on 76)
